Have you had a complicated pregnancy?  We are seeking the stories of women whose pregnancies were complicated by stillbirth, fetal death, miscarriage, preterm labor, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, fibroids, fetal abnormalities, twins, triplets, placenta previa, abruptio placenta, uterine rupture, isoimmunization, sickle cell anemia, fetal abnormality, thrombophilia, polyhydramnias, oligohydramnios, twin to twin transfusion, fetal growth restriction, abnormal quad genetic screen, neonatal intensive care admission.  We are interested in learning more from the mothers about their experience to better understand strategies to prevent such problems for other mothers.  Share this information with us.   


​​More research must be designed to learn best practices for preventing adverse outcomes in the pregnancies of black women and the deaths of their babies.  A study of African historic practices suggest a benefit in drugging which has been shown to increase the production of endorphins.  This is a natural pain reliever.  Could drumming in the health circle be helpful in the progress of labor and the relief of pain in labor. What role can hypnosis play in the progress of labor and relief of pain.  Can hypnosis reduce the need for delivery by cesarean section because of failure to progress in labor?
 Can meditation contribute to progress of labor and the relief of pain in labor.  Share your ideas and your concern about reduction of cesarean sections, prevention of preeclampsia, prevention of preterm birth, prevention of maternal and fetal death.?
